Drilling Rig Tech Needed in Dallas

Our growing Dallas client is looking for a Drilling Technician/Oil and Gas Assistant Analyst to join their fast-paced team on a contract to possible hire basis. Interested? Apply now.

Responsibilities:
- Transferring all data to Excel in a timely and accurate manner
- Organizing all data into PowerPoint presentations to help management make decisions about the status of drilling and rig placement
- Negotiate with vendors on a daily basis
- Work extensively with Excel and pivot tables-MUST be a Power user in Excel!
- Support the drilling team in various analysis projects
- Support the VP of Drilling with various administrative type functions. Ordering rig boxes, dealing with vendors for the sites, filing etc.
- Handle various invoicing/billing statements for vendors

Qualifications:
- MUST be a power user in Excel
- Prior oil and gas experience is required; drilling technician experience is preferred
- Must be very analytical and able to work with very technical oil and gas terms
- Some college is preferred
- Rig experience is highly preferred too!
