Our Galleria Area client is looking for a Compensation Analyst. It is a temporary to possible hire opportunity.

The Compensation Analyst provides compensation support and guidance to various business units and partner with the HR managers to understand business strategy and key drivers to appropriately link to compensation programs. In addition, the Compensation Analyst is responsible for the administration, communication and maintenance of the compensation process according to company guidelines.

Job Functions:

  • Support the Manager of Benefits and Compensation on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation
  • Participate in compensation development activities, researching pay/compensation history, and assignment of job range/level
  • Support the implementation of salary administration procedures, authorization and process and ensures effective administration of special compensation plans
  • Participate in and analyze results of salary surveys to determine company’s market relationship.
  • Assist in the administration of performance appraisal/merit/incentive programs
  • Analyze competitive salary data to support pay decisions and recommendations
  • Assist with preparation of cost analysis associated with pay adjustments or pay program initiatives
  • Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on compensation-related matters (hiring rates, promotion, equity adjustments, etc.) in order to ensure equitable and consistent salary practices
  • Coordinate and conduct job evaluations and departmental compensation reviews
  • Participate in special compensation projects and research as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or HR or related experienced experience
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used compensation concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Comprehensive understanding of statistical techniques
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations related to compensation
  • Experience in ADP/Reportsmith and Salesforce
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to research information on various subject types and provide concise reports
